With reference to Admiralty letter of

please note that consideration has been given to the question whether any and if so what, financial assistance should be granted to you from Naval Funds in respect of the work mention-
ed in that letter.
The Admiralty is prepared to make a contribution
per cent of the actual cost (without amounting to profit) to your firm of the labour and materials directly em- ployed by you on the work and a like percentage of expenditure incurred under contracts approved by the Department for any part of the work which may with its approval be carried out by contractors or sub-contractors.
The contribution made by the Admiralty will be sub- ject to the following conditions :-

(b) That full and complete records of the actual expenditure
are kept and exhibited to the duly authorised represen- tatives of the Admiralty, together with all necessary supporting vouchers, so that the Admiralty may be sat- isfied that the expenditure has actually been incurred and is proper to be allowed.
(o) That, where work is carried out by contract on a net
cost plus percentage basis, the like information is to be supplied as to the contractors' or sub-contractors expenditure.
(a)
That 'your firm will provide for the adequate insurance of the work and material included in the scheme, against fire, aircraft and bombardment, both during construction and after completion.
